Throws can add a lot to your decor or update a room using little investment or commitment. In a pinch, throws are great at hiding stains, nicks and discolorations on your chair or sofa. 
Bedroom: Drape a throw over one of the bottom corners of your bed, almost like it was tossed on the bed like an afterthought. A brightly colored or heavily patterned throw will perk up a plain duvet, and a solid throw will neutralize a duvet that features a busy pattern.
Living Room: Lay a throw over the back or arm of your sofa or chair to hide blemishes in your furniture or to add color and texture. Decorating with throws also allows you to easily–and affordably–update your decor every season or as often as you would like, without too much expense.
Walls: Hang a decorative throw on the wall such as a work of art if you want to cover a large space on your wall or simply show off a decorative throw.
